IPR Healthcare, Inc. continues to enhance patient quality of life through community activities led by Megan Owens and Sara Niday across Friendswood, Texas City, and surrounding areas.
At IPR Healthcare, Inc., the work doesn’t always happen in a hospital room or behind a chart.
Sometimes it happens at a bingo table.
Sometimes over crafts and conversation.
Sometimes in a room full of laughter.
Over the past week, Megan Owens and Sara Niday spent their days exactly where they’re needed most. Right in the middle of it.
Thomas Manor Assisted Living – Friendswood
March 10, 2026
The morning started simple.
Tables covered in craft supplies. Residents gathered, some quiet, some already chatting. As the activity picked up, so did the energy in the room.
Megan and Sara moved between tables, helping, joking, checking in. Easter eggs filled with small goodies made their way around, but what stood out wasn’t what was inside them.
It was the reactions. Smiles. Conversations starting up. People leaning in.
The Phoenix Post-Acute – Texas City
March 13, 2026
By Friday, the tone shifted.
Red hats. Bingo cards. Snacks on the table.
Megan Owens and Sara Niday hosted a ladies “Red Hat Day” at The Phoenix Post-Acute in Texas City. They had snacks and played bingo, and the room didn’t stay quiet for long.
Numbers were called, jokes were thrown back and forth, and every win, big or small, got a reaction.
Megan and Sara didn’t just run the activity. They stayed in it. Sitting, standing, talking, making sure no one was sitting off to the side unnoticed.
That part matters more than people think.
The Shoal
March 17, 2026
St. Patrick’s Day brought another setup. Green decorations, crafts, and a room that slowly filled with conversation.
Some patients focused on what they were making. Others were more interested in talking. Both mattered.
Megan and Sara worked the room naturally, keeping things moving without forcing anything. Just enough guidance to keep people engaged, without taking over.
What This Work Actually Feels Like
On paper, roles like Hospice Liaison or Home Health Liaison sound administrative. Coordination. Communication. Outreach.
In reality, it looks like this.
Being present
Reading the room
Knowing when to talk and when to just sit
Making sure no one feels forgotten
Megan has been busy in the best way. The kind that reminds you why this work matters.
Sara brings the same presence. Steady, attentive, and intentional with every interaction.
More Than Care
At IPR Healthcare, Inc., care is not limited to treatment. It is about quality of life, connection, and presence.
Because at the end of the day, people remember how they felt.
And this week, they felt seen.
