Wendy Shafer

Wendy Shafer, a licensed vocational nurse, obtained her nursing license from San Jacinto Community College more than 20 years ago. She is also the Branch Manager for IPR Healthcare’s Baytown branch. Throughout her career, she has gained a wealth of experience working in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, non-profit residential hospices, assisted living facilities, and home health care. Her dedication to her profession and her commitment to continuous learning enabled her to rise into management roles in three of these four areas, where she has demonstrated strong leadership in providing cost-effective, high-quality care. Wendy is deeply committed to ensuring that every patient receives care tailored to their individual needs and preferences, maintaining a compassionate and patient-focused approach in all aspects of her work.

Outside of her career, Wendy enjoys spending quality time with her husband, their five children, and grandchildren. Together, they share a passion for adventure, often going camping, taking road trips, embarking on cruises, and exploring new and exciting activities as a family. Wendy’s dedication to both her professional and personal life exemplifies her commitment to making a positive impact on those around her.
