Genelie Breis

Meet Genelie Breis, the dedicated Manager for the Houston Branch of IPR Home Health and Hospice. With nearly 11 years of commitment to IPR and two years as a branch manager, Genelie brings a blend of nursing education and assistant management experience to her role. Though she began without prior healthcare experience, her drive and dedication have enabled her to excel in the home health and hospice field.

Genelie believes in leading by example, always being accessible to support her team and ensuring that operations run smoothly. Her proudest achievements include training Patient Care Coordinators (PCCs) to provide compassionate and effective care to their patients and assisting field staff in delivering exceptional care. She emphasizes the importance of thorough communication, staying organized with detailed to-do lists, and keeping up to date with patient information to meet the needs of both patients and their families.

Her approach to community engagement involves making sure that patients and families fully understand IPR’s capabilities and how the organization goes above and beyond to provide high-quality care. She has developed training guides for new PCCs to ensure consistency in care, helping her team navigate tasks more efficiently and ensuring that no steps are overlooked.

Genelie’s leadership philosophy centers on being knowledgeable and prepared, ensuring that she stays current with changes in protocols and procedures to better guide her team. She is committed to resolving patient issues with concrete plans, never leaving a concern unanswered, and ensuring that every patient receives the attention and care they deserve.
